Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the EU AI Act Navigator provided by MNB Solutions. The service is designed to support structured self-assessment, documentation and workflow management related to the EU AI Act.

The EU AI Act Navigator is a software tool and documentation workspace. It helps users organise information, answer guided questions, record evidence and maintain internal documentation.

The service does not provide legal advice, legal representation or regulatory approval. Any classification, prompt, workflow suggestion, checklist, summary or output generated through the service is informational and supportive only.
MNB Solutions does not assume responsibility for a user's final legal assessment, regulatory classification, compliance decision, filing, deployment decision or internal governance conclusion. Those decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user and, where applicable, the user's organisation and its advisers.

Users are responsible for:
the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of information entered into the service;
deciding whether a particular AI system, use case or deployment falls within any legal category under the EU AI Act, GDPR or other laws;
obtaining independent legal, compliance, data protection or sector-specific advice where needed;
ensuring that uploaded documents, evidence and personal data may lawfully be processed.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
MNB Solutions does not warrant that the service, any assessment path, documentation workflow, generated text, checklist, export or output will be complete, accurate, current, legally sufficient, regulator-ready, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
In particular, MNB Solutions does not guarantee that use of the service will make a user compliant with the EU AI Act, GDPR or any other law, nor that any authority, auditor, customer, insurer or counterparty will accept any output created through the service.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You may not use the service to upload unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, or use the service in a way that could harm MNB Solutions, other users or third parties.

Documentation, evidence records and assessment notes created in the service are created under the user's direction. MNB Solutions provides the technical environment for storing and managing that material, but does not verify that the material is correct, sufficient, complete, regulator-ready or appropriate for any particular legal purpose.

MNB Solutions may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or fitness for a particular regulatory strategy.

MNB Solutions retains all rights in the service, including its software, structure, design, workflows and content created by MNB Solutions, except for user-provided content. You retain rights in content you upload, subject to the rights needed by MNB Solutions to host, secure, back up and operate the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MNB Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for loss arising from reliance on assessment outputs, documentation records, workflow suggestions or user decisions made using the service.
This includes loss arising from legal or regulatory misclassification, incomplete documentation, failed internal approval, audit findings, supervisory scrutiny, fines, enforcement measures, business interruption, loss of contract, reputational harm or third-party claims that relate to user decisions or user-provided content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

If your use case may be high-risk, prohibited, sector-regulated, public-sector facing, employment-related, credit-related, biometric, safety-critical or otherwise sensitive, you should obtain qualified legal and compliance review before relying on any output produced through the service.

MNB Solutions may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions become effective when published in the service unless a later date is stated.
